A Documentary Film La Americana is now available on DVD

Dear friends and supporters,

Since our last news update, La Americana has continued to screen across the United States (and beyond), inspiring audiences and creating a new dialogue about humane immigration reform. With the issue back on the national agenda, and the May Day immigrant’s rights celebrations around the corner, now is the time to bring La Americana to your classroom and community. Here's how:

Cinema Guild, one of the leading independent film distributors in the U.S., has acquired La Americana for academic & institutional distribution.

The film is now available on DVD for universities, schools, and libraries across the country. Professors: Please buy now and share this important new film with your students this year. To the many Students we’ve met across the country, please let your professors know about this opportunity to bring La Americana to the classroom.

Host a Screening with Your Organization. We are thrilled to announce that we have received a generous grant from the Fledgling Fund in support of the La Americana Outreach Campaign.

To kickoff the campaign, we are now inviting advocacy, policy, faith-based, and community organizations across the country to partner with us in by hosting a La Americana audience engagement event. We will work with you to help you maximize the impact of your La Americana screening.

Please stay tuned for news about broadcasts, NYC screenings, updates on the family, and more to come!
As always, thank you for your support,
Nicholas Bruckman
