ALABAMA

In solidarity with Alabama


WHAT: A delegation of Legislators from Arizona and other States, will be visiting different Alabama cities to explain the consequences of the Arizona Law SB1070, the mother of SB56 and similar anti-immigration laws, at the screen showing of the documentary SB1070 The Faces, this film tells the story of how SB1070 came about, the fight against it and the impact on peoples lives.


WHEN: From 18th to 21st of January 2012


WHERE: Birmingham, Athens, Clanton, Montgomery and Tuscaloosa



OBJECTIVES:


Display our solidarity with the affected communities, as a result of the passing of HB56 in Alabama
Show the consequences of SB1070 a year and a half after it’s passing trought the documentary SB1070 The Faces
Presentations of the Documentary SB1070 The Faces the story of the Arizona Law, which has been named the MOTHER of all such bills.
