FILM..

We are now reaching another milestone on our journey with Immigrant Nation! The Battle for the Dream. On September 2nd NETA (our PBS distributor) is finally set to deliver the film to all PBS stations who decide to make it part of the programming for Hispanic Heritage Month or any other time that they may wish to show it.

Hispanic Heritage Month seems to be our window to have it shown. It is very unlikely to show during any other month for many national broadcasters. So, that is why we have to take advantage of this month. Please contact your Local PBS station to encourage them to program Immigrant Nation. For now, we are very happy announce the first PBS stations that did not wait or give much thought to showing our documentary.

Confirmed Stations programing’s:
Los Angeles-KOCE, Friday 9/16 @ 10PM
Chicago-WTTW, Thursday 9/15 @ 9PM
San Francisco - KRCB, Monday 9/26 @ 9PM
DC-WETA, Sunday 9/18 @ 4PM
Maryland-MPT, Tuesday 9/20 @ 11PM
Many other stations are scheduled to record the feed but still have to confirm a date. Immigration is still a national concern and many politicians are trying to avoid it. It is time to tell our story to the nation and show that we once untied and defeated a bill that was set to criminalize our undocumented brothers and sisters. In order to make change we have to learn from this history. We have marched, we have voted and we can counter much of the continuing campaign against undocumented immigrants. Take action. Request the film. Revive the spirit of protest and solidarity.

We are also Happy no announce that we have been accepted to the “Cine Invisible Internacional” of Bilbao Spain Where we will be competing for the award "Mejor largometraje de Cine Invisible", "Premio Interculturalidad".
